old time fiddlin' and pickin' ability. He has traveled extensively throughout
the Midwest for over 30 years. Kinships have earned him a
considerable amount of notoriety and recognition throughout old time,

Also, true to his name,
Banjo Billy plays a variety of
banjos as owner of the Phippsburg Banjo Company.
Rd. Lunceford of The Old Time Herald said that Billy's Minstrel
style banjo playing on the album Ghost of Banjo Billy
is ,
"
what true traditional banjo playing has really always been about."
Lunceford also says about Billy's tunes that: " ...had I not known
better, I would have expected to have found them in an early 19th
Century banjo manual"
Billy still resides in the Ozark Mountains continuing work on music
projects. Billy keeps busy by traveling throughout the country for
workshops, concerts and other special events,
playing his huge repertoire of old time fiddle and banjo tunes.
It'll
get your feet a tappin' and your heels a clickin'!
